Tom Dreyer
Founder & Principal
Secure Capital Research LLC is focused on raising equity, preferred equity and other forms of capital for private equity real estate investment funds, value add property acquisitions and real estate development projects. Furthermore, Secure Capital Research LLC principals work with an elite group of US real estate developers to identify investments that qualify under the EB-5 immigrant investor Visa program created in 1990 by the US government. Mr. Dreyer is also a founder and principal of Secure Capital Group LLC, a joint venture partner in Randolph Street Capital, LLC, a JV formed by Chicago based real estate developer CA Ventures and Secure Capital Group.
Previously, Tom served as managing director with FBR Capital Markets, an institutional research, brokerage and investment-banking firm. He was a co-founder of FBR’s real estate investment-banking group in 1994 and was involved in over $2 billion in real estate transactions before his departure in 1999. Tom returned to FBR in late 2006, again as a managing director. From 1999 through 2006, Tom founded and managed Trilogy Capital, a hedge fund focused on real estate related securities. Tom began his career as a financial analyst with LaSalle Partners, now Jones Lang LaSalle (NYSE: JLL) in Chicago in 1988.
Tom graduated from the Edwin L. Cox School of Business at Southern Methodist University in 1988.
